“it’s a small world” (FP+)

Fantasyland

Located in Fantasyland, “it’s a small world” is one of the most iconic, classic Walt Disney World attractions of all time. This was an opening day attraction at Walt Disney World debuting on October 1, 1971. Even though Disneyland has the original (1966 after 1964 New York World’s Fair) and Walt Disney didn’t exactly have his own hands on this version, it has all of the classic charm that the original has. “it’s a small world” is a slow moving boat ride that takes approximately 13 minutes from start to finish. During your journey your senses will be tickled. You will see over 280 dolls that represent many of the world’s countries and cultures dancing and singing the iconic Sherman Brothers song. “it’s a small world”. Most likely you will be singing this catchy tune for the rest of the day. In our opinion this is a can’t miss attraction in Fantasyland.

Touring Tips

• This is a fairly fast moving line which typically means you will not see long wait times even during the busiest of times.

• FastPass+ is available BUT might not be necessary even during the busy season.

• If you really want to soak in the detail of the attraction you will need to ride it a few times. There are scenes to enjoy on both sides of the boat at all times.
