The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover (TTA) has been an attraction in Tomorrowland since July 1, 1975. The original name for the attraction was the WEDWay PeopleMover and remained that from 1975 to 1994 until it was changed to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Finally, in 2010 it was changed to its current name the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. The PeopleMover takes you on a 10 minute relaxing trip through Tomorrowland. Along the way you will see and hear tidbits of such attractions as Stitch’s Great Escape, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Carousel of Progress and go inside Space Mountain. You will travel at varying slow speeds as you travel indoors and out. Keep an eye out for a portion of Walt Disney’s original model for EPCOT as it is located on the left side as you travel through the first dark portion of the ride. You will also get some quick, but great, views of Cinderella Castle. Lines are typically never long and it is a very enjoyable ride.
