Star Tours – The Adventure Continues is the updated version of the original attraction Star Tours. Star Tours, in its original form, debut on on December 15, 1989 while the updated Star Tours – The Adventure Continues debut on May 20, 2011. Star Tours – The Adventure Continues is a 3d motion simulator attraction that takes you on an adventurous journey through the many worlds of Star Wars as you attempt to return the rebel spy to the Rebel Alliance. What takes this attraction to the next level is the fact that there are over 50 different combinations of beginning middle and ending sequences that might occur during your 5 minute journey. This means you can experience this attraction multiple times and never have the same journey twice. Your experience begins in the queue where you are space tourists in a spaceport terminal preparing for your trip through the galaxy. In the queue you will find a handful of audio-animatronics including R2-D2, C-3PO and Captain Rex from the original Star Tours. You will next enter the pre-show room where your attention will turn to the tv monitors for safety instructions as well as a quick glimpse of what is about to happen as your maintenance droid, C-3PO, is accidentally trapped in the cockpit. The doors swing open and you board the Starspeeder 1000 to begin your adventure. What happens next? Well, you will just have to experience it yourself! FastPass+ is available for Star Tours – The Adventure Continues and if you plan on experiencing the attraction mid-morning to late after-noon we highly advise making a reservation.
