Debuting in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Sunset Boulevard area on July 29, 1999, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith is a high speed indoor roller coaster. Hop aboard your “limo” ride vehicle and be prepared to reach 57 mph in a matter of 3 seconds. This indoor roller coaster features multiple inversions, corkscrews and drops all the while you are jamming out to special “roller coaster” versions of Aerosmith’s classic tunes through the 5 speakers located in each seat. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith is arguably the best thrill ride at Walt Disney World although not the fastest (Test Track is a hair faster) you will pull an amazing 4.5 gs in the first loop. The attraction ends and you are lead out into Rock Around the Shop for your shopping pleasure. This attraction is definitely not for everyone but it does satisfy the thrill junky at Walt Disney World. FastPass+ is available for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and is highly recommended during most times. If you do not have a FastPass+ reservation we recommend heading over right at park opening.

Touring Tips

• Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is one of only a few attractions in Walt Disney World that does offer a single rider line (Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Test Track in Epcot). You do not get to experience the queue but it may be a quick option to ride. Keep in mind you do not get a choice as to who you will sit with.
