Tinkerbell isn’t the only Disney character flying through the sky over the Walt Disney World Resort now. The Disney Skyliner has been test running covered gondolas from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for a while now. This week Disney uncovered to reveal 55 colorful, themed character pods for all to see!
Since the Disney Skyliner Transportation System was announced at the 2017 D23 Expo it was known that the gondolas would be character themed. We were shown concept art of a few of the designs including an actual pod at the 2018 D23 Destination D event. A storm blew through WDW this past week and pulled the cover off of one of the gondolas revealing the amazing character artwork underneath. Soon after Disney took off all of the covers to reveal all of the beautiful designs. A lot of photos of the characters have sprung up on social media and Disney Parks even produced a video to showcase what’s to come.
Here is a list of what we currently have seen for characters. Is this the complete list? We will just have to wait an see!
