Did you know that Coca-Cola products are prominent in the Star Wars universe? Well, sort of. We have learned a little more about what we will expect to see in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as Disney just released more food and beverage information including a new look for some familiar beverages.
Coca-Cola has been a long standing brand within the Disney Parks dating back to the opening of Disneyland in 1955. The real question is has it been a long standing brand in a galaxy far far away? Disney announced that have designed the Coca-Cola bottles to fit the feel and theme of the Star Wars Universe. This includes Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite and Dasani. The soda bottles will resemble what looks to be droids while the water bottle will be a clean, more natural design. Disney and Coca-Cola produced a teaser video featuring the new products and some Storm Trooper fun.
This is just a small taste of what is in store for guests at Galaxy’s Edge. Expect to find this type of immersion in every corner of the land. Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29, 2019. Talk about it in our all-new WDW Kingdom Disney Forums!
