During yesterday’s Walt Disney Company Q1 FY17 Earnings call, Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger gave us Star Wars fans the answer to one of the most asked questions, when will Star Wars Land open in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Iger stated that Star Wars Land will open up sometime in 2019.
Obviously, 2019 is a few years away and anything can happen between now and then but I do think Disney will hold to this timeline. Recent timeline mistakes with Pandora and Rivers of Light (among others) turn even optimistic Disney fans cautious when it comes to opening dates. 2019 is a (relatively) long time away and anything can happen between now and then to alter opening dates.
