Disney announced today yet another change coming to Walt Disney World’s second theme park. If you are fan of the Liberty Inn quick service restaurant in the American Adventure pavilion you better run because it is closing in less than two weeks.
An all-new Barbecue restaurant featuring craft brews will be taking the place of the Liberty Inn which has been a staple in Epcot’s World Showcase since the park opened in 1982. Liberty Inn will close on July 8, 2019 to make way for Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue that will open later this year.
“The new location will be a modern barbecue smokehouse, with all the accompanying sights, sounds, smells and flavors you love – including a large smoker preparing fine food every day right on the pavilion’s promenade. There will also be a redesigned patio for you to enjoy, so get ready to grab a brew, some barbecue, and relax inside Epcot.” Disney Parks Blog
