The Walt Disney Company announced that is has pledged to contribute $5 million to aid the in reconstruction of the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. The Cathedral was severely damaged in a major fire this week.
Bob Iger, Disney chairman and CEO, said in a statement Wednesday that the company The Walt Disney Company stands with our friends and neighbors in the community, offering our heartfelt support as well as a $5 million donation for the restoration of this irreplaceable masterpiece,”

As of the time of this article more than $1 billion dollars have been donated to help with the reconstruction of this historic Paris landmark.
