Walt Disney World has added more dates to its popular Disney After Hours event. These dates include Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with DHS featuring two special celebration evenings.
Disney After Hours is a special, hard ticketed event that occurs on select nights and has become popular due to the low crowds and ease of touring. Walt Disney World limits the amount of tickets they sell per night so it feels as if you have the “parks to yourselves” in some cases. Over the past two year’s it has become increasingly popular. The event includes all you care to enjoy popcorn, ice cream treats and select beverages.
Here are the new dates for each park at Walt Disney World Resort:
- Magic Kingdom: May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: May 7, 14 and 21; and June 4, 11 and 18.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: May 1, 4, 10, 17, 24 and 31; and June 14, 21 and 28.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also feature two special celebration evenings. The first will be on May 1 which will celebrate Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30th anniversary with special anniversary merchandise, additional character greetings and more food & beverage offerings to purchase. The second will be on May 4 to celebrate Star Wars with the May the Fourth celebration. This celebration will include character encounters with Chewbacca with REY, Darth Vadar, Kylo Ren with CAPTAIN PHASMA, Ewoks, Jawas and imperial stormtroopers. Plus, specialty treats available for purchase. You can even dress up in your own Star Wars attire. (must adhere to Disney’s costume guidelines)
