Calling all Disney Pixar Cars fans! Disney just announced even more Cars fun heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios the end of this month.
The previously announced high-energy Lighting McQueen’s Racing Academy show, located at the Sunset Showcase, won’t be the only Cars entertainment heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this month. Disney just announced that along with the show will be a Cruz Ramirez meet and greet as well as a street party lead by DJ and his “pit crew”. If you are a Disneyland Resort fan then you might recognize “DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time!” as it has been a staple in Cars Land (Disney California Adventure Park) for a while now.
Several times daily, things kick into gear for “DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time!” as Lightning McQueen’s Pit Crew arrives on the scene, getting everyone around DJ engaged in entertaining “Cars”-inspired dances and games. “DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time!” will be located in the newly named Cars Courtyard located outside the Sunset Showcase. The Cruz Ramirez meet and greet and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy are also located in this area which is next to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
