If you have ever been to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on Halloween and then came back the next day you most definitely noticed a change. How does Disney transform the Magic Kingdom from Halloween to Christmas so quickly? It takes a lot of preparation, organization, team work and I am sure a little coffee mixed in.
A few years ago Disney put together an amazing time-lapse video showing how the Halloween decorations come down and the Christmas decorations go up. Keep in mind that this is just in the Magic Kingdom on Main Street U.S.A. and the entire Walt Disney World Resort is typically completely decorated by Thanksgiving.
Even though the Walt Disney World Resort transforms into a magical wonderland seemingly overnight the work is a 365 day a year job. Most of the holiday magic happens behind the scenes at the 84,000 square foot Holiday Services Warehouse. If you have ever been on the Backstage Magic Tour you just might have had the opportunity to tour this amazing facility. Check out the video below for a behind the scenes look at the most magical warehouse on earth.

Last year Disney Parks shared a short behind the scenes video that gives you a glimpse of imagineers hard at work at Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs putting together the holiday decor.
