Disney announced today that The Incredibles will be making their way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting in January. The former Pixar Place will be transformed into a Municiberg city block and will feature your favorite characters from the Disney•Pixar The Incredibles franchise.
This January enjoy three new experiences in the former Pixar Place. Guest will be able to meet and greet with the famous Edna Mode. The greatest super suit designer in the universe will meet guests in an area featuring some of her best creations. Next, at the end of the “city block” you can party with Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone as they celebrate their Super deeds. Lastly, guests visiting Municiberg will have the chance to look for clues to find mischievous Jack-Jack.
With the opening of Toy Story Land this summer came the closing of Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Pixar Place was the street home to the Buzz and Woody meet and greet, Hey Howdy Hey snack cart and merchandise area as well as the now retired entrance to Toy Story Midway Mania! There have been rumors floating around that this area was to become a backstage area for Cast Members since it has been blocked off since the end of June. Disney did not state how long The Incredibles will be featured in this area but we will update you when we find out.
