The verdict is in, the September Hot Diggity Dog of the month at Casey’s Corner is a hit! The Jalapeño Popper Dog is topped with cheese sauce, garlic ranch drizzle, bacon bits, jalapeno poppers, and pickled jalapeños. Sound good? Well it is!
Casey’s Corner releases a special Hot Diggity Dog at the beginning of every month. As the months pass by it seems like they get more and more audacious. We had a chance to talk to an adventurous hot dog eater this past week to find out what they thought of the Jalapeño Popper Dog.
WDW Kingdom reader, Steve M. is a regular at Casey’s and is willing to try anything new. He said the hot dog itself was as usual a “fantastic Casey dog” but the toppings brought it to a whole new level. “If you could fit the popper into your mouth with one bite you got all the flavors. The ranch cooled the zip from the peppers perfectly and the bacon just added to the flavors.” Steve did say that the dog was a bit on the messy side and if you didn’t eat it right away the bun got a bit soggy. Overall it sounded like a very enjoyable hot dog. “If you love hot dogs and jalapeños, then you will really enjoy this meal. The dog is very filling and I would consider it a meal in itself.”
