For those of you waiting to see what Ralph and Venellope von Schweetz what have in store for us next, you are in luck! Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 doesn’t hit the theaters until this fall but Walt Disney Animation Studios just released the first full-length trailer for the much anticipated sequel to Wreck-It Ralph.
Join Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Venellope (Sarah Silverman) as they venture out of the video game world and into the internet to discover what lies beyond arcade life. The trailer does not get too deep into the plot but does give us a lot of hints as to where it might go and if you are a Disney nerd, you will love it. When Venellope asks The Searchbar, KnowsMore (think google), that she wants to go to a website “that is super intense and really nuts!” she ends up in a Disney fans dream. Surrounded by Star Wars, Marvel, Disney Animation, Eeyore (yes, Eeyore) and a lot of Disney pop cultural references she “glitches” her way into the a grand ballroom restricted to just Disney Princesses. Venellope quickly gets questioned by Cinderella (while wielding a broken glass slipper), Pocahontas, Elsa and others after she says she is a princess. They ultimately accept her after Rapunzel makes a Flynn Ryder reference as to her problems being solved after “a big strong man showed up”. The trailer ends when of the Disney Princesses say “she is a princess!” in unison.
