Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate our mothers and mom-like figures in our lives. Walt Disney World is making sure you have a chance to celebrate with a variety of sweet specialty treats.
Throughout the Walt Disney World Resort you will find Mother’s Day specialty treats that look simply amazing. Take a virtual walk around the “World” and see what we can indulge in.
Your Walt Disney World Resort Mother’s Day treat trip starts in Epcot. Sunshine Seasons, in the Land Pavilion, will feature a raspberry mousse and lemon cake topped with a Swiss buttercream rose and fondant pearls. If a cupcake sounds good head over to Fountain View from May 11-13 for this sweet raspberry white chocolate mousse and pink icing treat.
Just a quick bus ride over to Disney Springs brings you to your next stop on our Mother’s Day treat trip. Once you arrive at Disney Springs head on over to Amorette’s Patisserie for this beautiful edible “letter” topped with chocolate-covered strawberries and mini-macarons, this offering can be personalized with a short message written in icing. The Ganachery is your next stop for a cake pop featuring dark chocolate-covered raspberry ganache topped with the word MOM.
Animal Kingdom joins in the Mother’s Day fun by adding a specialty cupcake to the Creature Comforts and the Isle of Java menus. While you stop by for your coffee make sure you also pick up the specialty cupcake that is filled with white chocolate raspberry mousse and topped with buttercream flowers.
Your Walt Disney World Resort Mother’s Day treat trip heads to a few of the resorts. Disney’s All-Star Music and All-Star Movies Resorts will feature a Tropical Éclair filled with mango and pineapple tropical cream and chocolate ganache and is topped with fondant rose buds. You can find this treat at the Intermission Food Court and World Premiere Food Court on Sunday May 13th only.
If you are feeling creative you can purchase the Mother’s Day Cookie Flower Pot Activity Kit and make your own treat from May 11-13 at World Premier Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. The kit will include a flower pot filled with chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, and cookie crumbles, customizable flower cookies, and jelly candy worms. If you still have enough energy from all of running around the Walt Disney World Resort enjoying these amazing treats you can decorate your Mother’s Day Cookie Flower Pot Kit with a Disney pastry chef and turn it into a family activity! The decorating activity with the pastry chef will be available at the following resorts at these specific times and locations only
