I have to preface this by saying that Disney Pixar’s Inside Out is one of my absolute favorite animated films and when I discovered that the newly reimagined Pixar Pier area at Disney’s California Adventure was going to have an Inside Out themed attraction I about lost my mind. Then I realized what the attraction really was and I just don’t do well with spinning rides. Although the theming is pretty neat it just doesn’t appeal to me and doesn’t feel like it will be an immersive attraction. (I could be wrong) See the pic of the concept art showing the swinging attraction themed with memory balls and more. If you don’t like spinny things, well this might not be for you.
Fast forward to the other day. I cannot tell you how excited I was when I saw the report that Inside Out was officially coming to the Disney Parks in the form of FOOD. Mind Blown. We are a Walt Disney World family and have not yet made it to the west coast to visit the Disneyland Resort, but this might change everything.
Disney recently released a bunch of concept art for some of the food stands that are in the works inside the new Pixar Pier area of Disney’s California Adventure. The one that got me more excited than finding a $20 bill in the laundry was “Anger Dogs”. Now to the casual fan this may look like your run of the mill hot dog stand but but but…it features one of the greatest characters in Pixar history, Anger! The concept art looks amazing and it sounds like the food adventure might be equally amazing. I am a hot dog guy myself and this stand is going to feature, according to Disney, a variety of different spiced sauces to add to your glorious tube steak. This just might be better than Victoria and Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian. Ok, I might be going a little overboard with that statement but I honestly can’t wait to see how this project comes to life…and tastes!
Disney needs to bring Inside Out to life at Walt Disney World sooner than later, but for now, it looks like I will be booking my trip to the Disneyland Resort. Who’s coming with me? This new culinary delight will open June 23rd.
