Disney announced today that Miss Adventure Falls, the new family-style raft attraction in Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, will open on March 12.
From the August 2, 2016 Disney Parks Blog release –
“Miss Adventuee Falls will be a family-style raft attraction that takes guests on a splashing journey through the fabled Captain Mary Oceaneer’s past. Legend has it that Captain Oceaneer, a treasure-hunting heroine, traveled across the sea collecting unique artifacts before she became stranded at Typhoon Lagoon many years ago by a rogue storm.
Aboard treasure rafts, guests will ascend to the top of the attraction before plunging into a white-water adventure where they will be able to spot some of the treasures Captain Oceaneer gathered from around the world.”
Miss Adventure Falls has one of the longest ride times of any attraction at either one of Disney’s Water Parks at 2 minutes and features many unique details along the way.
