Walt Disney World will see its annual ticket price increase starting on Sunday, February 11, 2017. One-Day tickets and Annual Passes will see new pricing as well as some changes with expiration dates and online purchase discounts are coming your way. 2017 marks the 28th year in a row Walt Disney World has increased ticket prices in some fashion.
“Value Season” one-day tickets for Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will now cost $99 up from $97. “Value Season” one-day tickets for the Magic Kingdom will now cost $107 up from $105. “Regular Season” for Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will now cost $107 up from $102. “Regular Season” for the Magic Kingdom will now cost $115 up from $110. “Peak Season” one-day tickets for Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will now cost $119 up from $114. “Peak Season” one-day tickets for the Magic Kingdom will remain the same at $124. Child (3-9) tickets will see a nominal increase as well.
Florida resident “Gold Pass” (with Christmas and Spring Break blackout dates) will now cost $559 up from $549. Florida resident “Platinum Pass” (with no blackout dates) will now cost $679 up from $649. Non-Resident “Platinum Pass” will now cost $779 up from $749 and the “Platinum Plus Pass” will now cost $869 up from $820.
ALL tickets will now have an expiration date. If your ticket expires you can exchange it for a credit toward a new ticket of equal or greater value.
If you plan on purchasing your 3-10 day “Magic Your Way” packages online, you will now save $20. This also includes purchases made through your phone.
The final change (that was announced) was an increase in the “Preferred Parking” option. “Preferred Parking” at any of the available theme parks will now be $40 up from $35.
