Test Track is located in the Future World – East area of Epcot and opened on March 17, 1999.  The attraction was reimagined in 2012 into its current version sponsored by Chevrolet.  After going through a queue filled with concept cars and movies of car design you are brought into the Chevrolet Design Studio.  Inside the Chevrolet Design Studio you get you design your own concept car on large touchscreens.  Here you can be very creative and design your perfect car from the way it looks to the way it performs.  After you complete your design your next step is to put it too the test.  You will now board your Test Track “simulation car” (your attraction ride vehicle) and experience Capability (handling), Responsiveness (maneuverability), Efficiency (fuel-saving and environmentally friendly) and Power (speed) tests.  All along the way your car that you created is being evaluated in these areas.  The attraction ends with an exhilarating 65 mph ride “power” test that is both fast and fun!  After you finish your ride you can see how well your car performed and compare it to others.  There is a post show area after you experience Test Track in a fun and interactive area.  There you can check out the latest cars, trucks and suvs from Chevrolet in the showroom, you can play Give it a Spin! (a virtual vehicle test), create your own 15 second commercial and email it and pose for a picture with a Chevy vehicle with fun backgrounds.  FastPass+ is available for Test Track and is highly recommended.

Test Track has a minimum height requirement to ride – 40″

Touring Tips

• Test Track is one of only a few attractions in Walt Disney World that does offer a single rider line (Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios). You do not get to experience the queue but it may be a quick option to ride.  Keep in mind you do not get a choice as to who you will sit with.
