Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (FP+)

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opened as the final phase of New Fantasyland on May 28, 2014. The “Mine Train” is a 3 minute semi-thrilling coaster ride through the Seven Dwarfs Mine and its surrounding hills and forest. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train reaches a peak speed of 34 MPH during its adventure. We are not the only ones that would suggest that the thrill level of this attraction fits right in between The Barnstormer and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

As you sit inside your “mine train” you will notice that the actual ride vehicle sways back and forth. This added level of excitement can be felt as you make those tight turns around the hills and forest. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is filled with amazing new animatronics as well as some hold overs from “Snow White’s Scary Adventures” that closed in 2012. If you do not have FastPass+ you may be waiting at much as 140 minutes for this attraction during peak season. If you do have to wait there is a pretty neat interactive queue that will keep you entertained that includes games and puzzles. This is a do not miss attraction at the Magic Kingdom.

Touring Tips

• If you have purchased Memory Maker (Photopass) you will notice that there is an actual on ride video of you that is taken as you come around one of the turns.

• Try to reserve your FastPass+ as soon as your reservation window opens up and do not be picky with the times you get. These book up very very fast.

• If you plan on attending Morning Extra Magic Hours still expect a bit of a line if you are not early.
