Future World – West

Located inside The Land Pavilion in the Future World – West area of Epcot, Living with the Land is a 15 minutes slow moving boat tour through past, current and future agricultural settings.  Once you board your boat a recorded narrator begins your journey.  You are taken through a rainforest, prairie, and farmland settings before you enter a set of real working greenhouses.  Here you will learn about 9 pound lemons as well as many other fruits, vegetables and other crops that are grown there.  You will experience the aqua cell crops that include fish and alligators.  Along the way keep your eyes open for hidden mickeys as you never know what you will see.  The trip concludes with some future and imaginative ways of growing crops.  This is an attraction that typically gets overlooked but we highly suggest experiencing it.  You can also eat the crops yourself as some of them are used in The Land Pavilion restaurants Sunshine Seasons and Garden Grill.  FastPass+ is available for Living with the Land but typically is not needed.

Touring Tips

• If you wanted a behind the scenes look at the greenhouses that you see as you travel through in Living with the Land, we suggest going on the Behind the Seeds tour.  It is one of the best tours for your money in all of Walt Disney World.
