The Festival of the Lion King is located in the Harambe Village area of Africa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  This high energy show is a dazzling mix of acting, singing, dancing, acrobatics and more brought together to tell a musical story of The Lion King.  Festival of the Lion King debut April 22, 1998 but moved to its current location, the Harambe Theatre, on June 1, 2014.  This 30 minute Broadway style show is one of the best theme park shows you will ever see and is a do not miss attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  FastPass+ is available for Festival of the Lion King and is needed if you are planning on seeing the show mid-day.  If you do not have a FastPass+ reservation we suggest heading to one of the first or last shows for minimal waits.

Touring Tips

• Harambe Theatre is octagonal shaped with bench seating.  All seats have a great view but if you are watching with smaller children we do suggest trying to get a back row seat for better views.
