The third installment of the Disney/Pixar Cars series is set to hit the big screen on June 16, 2017 but you won’t have to wait that long to get to know some of its characters.  ‘Cars 3’ will come to life with “Road to the Races,” a 27 city tour that will begin at Disney Springs from March 23-26, 2017.

“Road to the Races” is a fun filled ‘Cars 3’ experience featuring activities for the entire family.  Located next to “Once Upon a Toy” in the Disney Springs Marketplace (in the old bus stop area) the “tour” will feature fun photo opportunities including a giant color mural sponsored by Alamo, a pit crew tire-changing activity sponsored by Coppertone, a Dole Refueling Station where guests can sample some tasty smoothies, a Piston Cup prize wheel sponsored by Crest and Oral-B that will feature a digital Lightning McQueen postcard opportunity as well as specialty merchandise and a DJ dance party.

All of this sounds great but the best part of the “Road to the Races” tour is the presence of life sized character cars of Lightning McQueen and two new stars of ‘Cars 3’, Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm.  Guests will get the chance to take some great photos with these three celebrities!

If you can’t make it to Disney Springs this week you can catch the “Road to the Races” tour in 26 other cities this spring including Chicago, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and more.  Are you planning on attending this fun ‘Cars 3’ event in your city?  Let us know and talk about it in our forum!
